True but the likes of Bellion, Bebe, Saha, Depay, Sancho etc who were still youngish when they rocked up and despite being overloaded10 year younger players than the rags though.

Yep they are the complete masters of that policyDon’t forget Obertan and Jizzjazz.
Stones is our best CB in my opinion as well...I’m not a big fan of ideal starting line-up posts but I have to say I’m baffled to see Laporte favoured over Stones a lot of the time. Stones is arguably our best CB.
He's a banged up 31 year old...No chance, he is incredibly injury prone, not someone you can rely for fluid passing and build up, and neither can he play as a defensive midfielder, he's more of a box to box.

Absolutely. He's lost a yard, maybe more, and he's half the player he was. On the one hand sad to see as he was magnificent as the specialist DM but on the other hand thank God Chelsea don't have him at his peak anymore.
I'd rather have a true CB from the academy in the line up than Dinho come Sunday...someone younger, faster and who actually plays the position...Mbete maybe...Well he could've given some of our talented young central defenders a few more minutes over the course of the season, I suppose. It's all well and good having a small senior squad supplemented by academy players, but only if you actually trust the academy players enough to play them
