Just can't excited about Cucurella news when it comes with Sterling possibly leaving.

Losing him would be a massive blow and make us much less dynamic across the front. Just had a text Marc Cucurella done deal , sterling pushing for a move away.

Noooo.. he's not the sterling of old.. and he's 27, will be 28 in december. Lacking confidence since Lyon.. and seems to have lost pace. I don't hate the guy but the blistering pace you're talking about simply isn't that blistering pace anymore.

I do agree we could use a speedy winger which is why I think Edozie might get a shot at the spot but we likely will look elsewhere for pace.

I hope we have our eyes on the kind of physical, rapid winger that Sterling is somewhere. Not heard any links, tho.

He's not been at his best in the false-nine system but he still offers so much that our other forwards just don't.

Also baffled by people who think the top scorer of the entire Pep era and one of our most prolific players of all time can just be replaced with Palmer or Edozie. They're good prospects but we're talking about one of the key players of City's best era in our entire history. Nothing but a top-level signing of a player of similar qualities is good enough.

Felix is not the replacement we would need if Raz leaves.

I hope he stays and extends, but I’m also fairly relaxed if he goes, I think with the players we are linked with if he goes we’ll have plenty of options and be fine.
