It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

35 million plus add ons. Ha.

Why the fuck would we agree to add ons that would almost certainly only be activated if they beat us to trophies? It's a lose lose.

Arsenal is one thing, they're not direct rivals at the moment and presumably any add ons would relate to getting top 4, winning cups etc.

Pay up or fuck off Chelsea.
Could be simple nu very of appearances etc

That's not what I said though... McAtee and the others may well get a few chances, but I think that other than Palmer, their long-term futures lie elsewhere.

I know many on here think he's the next big thing, and I'm happy to be proved wrong, but I've not seen anything from McAtee to convince me that he's near the level of Palmer and a very long way off Foden at the same age.
Hate to agree on n this, but my thoughts mirror your post

We’re now producing some fantastic footballers, but to get 4 out of one age group for our first team is a tad on the unrealistic side. To get Phil & Cole in the team only being 2 years apart would be a great achievement in my opinion

I dont disagree but it could equally point to Pep gearing up to leave us in the best possible way he can...The reality is it doesn't point to anything except we learned from not investing when were champs
Anythings possible i guess. But look what Whiskey Nose did in his last year or so. Short term signing of Van Persie to ensure we didnt get him and ultimately won them the league. This looks a long way from that!! Time will tell…

The buying club is always makes a low offer first testing the water, i hope we negotiate a better deal though. Preferably 50m hard cash first the rest will be add on (5 or 10m)

Respectfully disagree tbh. And players develop at different rates in any event, whether in terms of ability or physicality.
Again I point to the likes of Kane and Bale, on their way out of Spurs and heading for the Championship until timing and fortune struck
