It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Was having a debate with one of my sons earlier about how I felt we were probably light in the right wing area and maybe could do with someone there after we sign Cucurella. He came back with the list below of players who could play for us next season and I’ve got to say what a fucking squad!! I’ve put Cucurella in there as I think it gets done in the next week or so but the rest looks enough doesn’t it?

That still looks like a strong enough squad for me. There is no need to panic for this season we are covered even with us losing our favourites.

Delap loan till World Cup to sweeten the deal would make sense for all. Brighton couldn’t score for shit despite potter having them play pretty well. The impact of a World Cup a third though the season is real uncharted territory and as one of the smallest squads with the highest ratio of internationals will hurt us.

Brighton doesn't need Delap, i rather sent him to the team that really wanted him to play like Southampton.

We don't realy know the timing of things, rumours and speculation in public don't necessarily coincide with what happens in reality. I can imagine them being late a lot of the time. Or too soon, when they are pure guesswork.
 
So looks like three very admirable players gone now. This is petty as I wish all three the best personally in life in general but I do wish they had gone to other leagues.

I can just about handle Raz at the chavs but Gabby and Zin at the tarquins sticks in my craw. They patronised us when we were shit and then became bitter as fuck when we overtook them. Can't stand them so if I'm being truthful the whole 'hope you do well just not against us' isn't really logical for me. I have great affection for all three but that doesn't extend as far as the teams they'll be playing for doing well, so I'm not really wishing them the best am I ?

Petty and childish I know but there you go.
