I think Txiki has done a fantastic job. On top of all of our excellent signings, we have kept hold of Bernardo and are 'potentially' signing a left back or two ;-)
Who isn’t no matter what your preferenceLol you are obsessed with wet knickers!
A year ago this time Cucurella was Gomez.Just as good. The only difference is Cucurella is more of a natural defender.
What I’ve seen, which Tbf is little, not been impressed, very raw right now, wouldn’t make our bench as it stands imo. What's your beef with Leao? Just asking?
I'm against signing him as well, honestly don't know enough bout him. He seems to be flavour of the month and could be a one season wonder, he is playing in Italy which coupled with a massive fee it would take to get him would be a huge gamble. Just not a risk I think we should take. What's your beef with Leao? Just asking?
The only difference is Gomez is a converted full back has similar qualities to Cancelo (which isn't a bad thing)A year ago this time Cucurella was Gomez.
The point isn't it would be insane to think selling Bernardo now, at a discount no less, would be a terrible idea. But it is insane to think City would actually do that. Why would they? I would need one legitimate reason other than Brokealona wants him. Just sayin'.I was writing down my thoughts about the LB situation and the speculations about Bernardo leaving for the fee thats been reported. I too think City is a very well run club (perhaps the best run club in the world), that was the first thing I stated in my post. I also think Txiki has done a tremendous job over the years, and previously this summer with signing Haaland & Phillips for example. I stated this in my post too. I can think 95% of everything Txiki has done is great and still think us starting the season with no new LB is not particularly well done by Txiki, and think potentially selling Bernardo for the fee being reported, when the season has already started, would be a very bad move by him and the club. I still think he has done a terrific job here overall, I just think this could/can be handled way better. Apparently its insane to think so according to most posters here.
Probably a good thing with the way we often expect our FBs to play in midfield. The only difference is Gomez is a converted full back has similar qualities to Cancelo (which isn't a bad thing)
Leao is a physical freak (nicest sense) in the mould of Haaland. It would simply be unfair to have them both in the same forward line, so for that reason alone I’m fully in favour.I'm against signing him as well, honestly don't know enough bout him.
