I think one thing everyone can agree on is it will be an interesting summer alright.

Yeah, once I got over my frustration at knowing we're not going to sign a left back this window, I just started looking forward to the summer.

I think my expectations for the rest of this season have been slightly lowered but there's a comfort in that. Not to be a happy flower or anything.

I've never understood these analogies. There's probably a Maddison in every La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga team. He's a good player, nothing special at all. Suggesting he is anywhere close to KDB or Bernardo is delusional. Getting him in place of Bellingham will make me feel sick. The squad is in transition and needs injections of world class quality; Maddison doesn't fit this bill, he's average.

We can do better for fucks sake. I said the same about Phillips and I'll maintain this view on Maddison.

What does everyone think of Lavia I heard great things back at the start of the season but haven’t heard much now obviously they are stuggling. However who thinks of bringing him back instead of Phillips because he is just wasting a spot on the team.

It has the advantage of players not running to Madrid or Barca as soon as they get a chance. But sometimes it seems that he wants to influence the england national team a lot by doing this (maybe this is a big stretch but still...)

You would have had a fit at the prospect of us signing any of them before they went to Liverpool.

They annihilated our so called world class midfield nearly every time we played them as well.

People think you need 11 superstars in the team lol

And that David silva and Fernandinho were world class when we signed them ..

I like this as an option. He's been great for Southampton. He was brilliant up until being injured which really messed them around, they had to play JWP their best player deeper and hasn't been working there. Previous manager was useless and seems to be getting back to some better form there now.

Here is an England international, and proven Premier League player, who has played a total of 165 minutes for the team, because of injury and operations. Anyone judging him as a failure does so absolutely prematurely and disrespectfully, IMO. Disrespectfully to him, the club, and the management team.

At the same time he’s barely played football for almost 2 years now and there’s no telling he will make it back to his best. I was really into his signing but it could clearly go either way at this point. ...but the younger midfielders we bring in will ultimately be the ones to replace KDB and Gundogan etc.

exactly what I am saying. we can buy fukin madison if we accept our level from now on should be Spurs. that is the only reason we should be looking at the likes of madison. there are players in dutch and portugal league who are levels above maddison we just have lazy sports team. txiki get your shit together fast! for example this guy Otávio from porto who is levels above anything madison can dream of. we can probably get him for similar price. why the fuck should we be satisfied with the likes of chillwel and madison?
