I hope so, but highly doubt it - seems strange to let Mcatee go on loan - was really hoping we'd see him play this year.

I wasn't being sarcastic in the slightest. Do you not see the absurdity in arguing players who are current Champions of Europe are not Champions of Europe squad depth material?

TH reckons we might get the lad Boca Juniors, Barco (fullback) - same sort of deal we did for alvarez....buy him now but wont join till January.....

Thing is, he is a left back so do we need him? We have Ake and Gvardiol who both play that side....??

Or is it a CFG signing who might get tried here but ultimately (like Gomez and Perrone) probably wont make it and be sold on??

I know what you mean but Perone has been loaned and Gomez is still here unless you know something I’ve missed?

He’s probably a better fit to our system than Doku is, so he may get some more minutes whilst Pep retrains Doku.

I think we’ll see more systems, one suiting Doku, but yes Bobb is adept in those half spaces. There is more than a passing resemblance to David Silva in his ability to find space and his weight of pass is slide rule stuff.
