Surely its exactly what you want, the player has overruled his agent and gone where he wants. Not been forced to go to a club he doesnt want to just so the agent gets a bigger slice.

That's not how it reads though, they make it sound like he'd already promised Spuds he'd join and then Bayern came in, if they'd come in earlier he might have preferred Bayern. Of course that might not be the case (I suspect it isn't myself) and it's designed purely for clickbait (most likely case).
