Can see us signing Bruno , when talking at the awards show accepting his award last season , Bruno said that Pep had a chat with him called him a good player , but didn’t go into anymore details. Then Pep picked him out this season in the pre match conference before we played Newcastle giving him praise. Then we have quotes from Bruno calling City the best team in the world. Just feels like a transfer that could easily happen

Interesting that Pep called him a holding midfielder as well?
 
Paqueta and Guimaraes are close, as, too, are their partners, I believe, which might make getting them easier. Guimaraes has many of the same attributes of Rico Lewis, only he's older, bigger, and has a better engine. Last night, against Villa, Rodri was on his tod when it came to chasing back for their goal. Similarly, when Luiz forced Ortega into the save in the second half, Lewis was toiling to run back the way. Neither Kovacic, Bernardo, nor de Bruyne would offer much assistance in that regard either, so I can understand our interest. Would be a big outlay to land both, but I don't think either of them would suffer from impostor syndrome.

Not sure about that,I have doubts we will go for either Guimaraes or Wirtz. If I was to guess Foden is KDB replacement, our first midfield 3 going forward will be Rodri, Paqueta, Foden. Obviously we'll need rotation and back up for them but doubt that would be players like Guimaraes or Wirtz. Probably keep Kovacic and KDB for at least one more year,not convinced Bernardo goes this summer either. Might be wide forwards we are more in need of.

Wirtz wont happen this summer, he will stay for one more season @ Leverkusen

Mendes probably will give an enticing option to City to give Bernardo to Benfica for Joao Neves +50mil

would the club go for Bruno & Neves? not sure personally without a massive overhaul next two seasons.

They have been flirting with each other for 2 seasons, high time they got a room together on the pre season tour to the USA.

losing Kova, Silva & Kev over the two? This is the kinda greed and FIFA moves I would do given free reign.

midfield options in 2025 - Rodri, Neves, Bruno, Paqueta, Foden, Wirtz. :)
