It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Don't know about Bruno his passing doesn't look up to scratch! We really need Paqueta be will improve us not so sure Bruno will
Long passing isn't really why we'd be after Bruno to be fair. Not his game at all.

He's a workhorse that we'd bring in to pair with Rodri and do all the dirty work / running. Which will be sorely needed if Bernardo finally ends up leaving this summer.

Bruno G is a good player no doubt I'm just not sure on the 100M price tag that Newcastle have put on him. Although I will say Arsenal getting him wouldn't be ideal either.

If we're really going to a 3-5-2 next season how's this for an 11:

Ederson/Ortega

Akanji Dias/Stones Gvardiol/Ake

Paqueta Bruno G. Foden Rodri Grealish

KDB Haaland
Mate, people on here have been saying we are going 3-5-2 for the last few Summers, I've seen posters absolutely convinced.

I point out we aren't, because that's not the way Pep plays the game. They disagree, then they get proven wrong.

It's not happening under Pep, it really isn't.

Pep plays a 4, that can morph into anything from a 2, 3 or 4 depending on the situation. I don't see him changing his philosophy, and why would he.

It’s not even that. It’s 5 & 5 and deployed differently dependent on the opponent.

The day Pep goes 3-5-2, he’ll have Tony Pulis decked out in the club shop as his number 2.

I'm not the one saying it...I'm saying IF, based on the amount of chatter I'm hearing on line...

Apparently he's fed up with the deeper and deeper low blocks we're facing on a regular basis and thinks going to a 3-5-2 would make it easier to break teams down...

It's good of Pep to share his upcoming tactics online, I've never known Pep doing that before, have you?

I also doubt Pep will suddenly change the formation just because next season, that kind of sudden changes for player in our team that have played in certain way for years, that's not something can be done quickly in preseason and they need to adapt for it atleast a season to have some tangible results for it.

You know how our club needs to have stability each season to atleast qualify for champions league and Pep nor the club will want to risk that stability just to change to formation that Pep never done before.
