We didn’t get a like-for-like replacement for Gundo, but we did score 2 more goals in 23/24 season than 22/23. We never really get like-for-like replacements, we find something else. Kovacic (and Bernardo) centrally allowed Rodri and Foden to pick up more G&A

Whomever we bring in this summer, they don't necessarily have to be ready to beat Real Madrid. It would be nice, of course, but it's more important that they are comfortably capable of starting against most other teams so that when we do face Real Madrid in April/May, we do so with our best players fit and ready.

Not really I’m saying the same people are un charge, they will decide what we need based on what they know works, expecting some great change of methods is ignoring facts.
