As time goes on it's looking more and more unlikely that we will get him. We won't pay the asking price, they won't lower it and he won't push for a move. Time to move on to other targets I think

Is it just me that wouldn’t mind letting Alvarez go if we could bring in a decent attacking midfielder
I just don’t rate him that highly
Everyone mentions his trophies not what he actually does on the pitch
Nowhere near peps first team at end of season
I’d take olmo over him everyday and play him in various positions

I reckon he’ll be gone by next summer at the latest
