It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Just had a glance at completed transfers.
Of last seasons top 4 Villa appear to have been most active - but it's a hell of a turnover with 8 newbies.
Arsenal - currently 1 (excluded Raya as he was there last season)
Liverpool - currently 0

Then there's:

Nearest and dearest - 2 (one of them likely to be out until end of Sept at the earliest)

Chelsea - 7 from what I can tell, I mean wtf??

Quite a few signings for promoted/lower half teams but none stand out

It's been a bizarre window, have to assume it's thanks to PSR
They seem intent on sucking every last drop of joy out of the game.

The issue is that bond of those you mention are exactly proven. I love Bobb and think his potential is huge...and McAtee is a great player in the making...but neither especially McAtee are ready to be regulars...Savio is new the league...he will take time to adapt...he could be a worldie or a flop...no one knows
No one knows but one person knows better than anybody else so if he’s happy to give it a go I am too. Was Alvarez proven in the league before last season. We either believe players like Bobb or Savio, McAtee have what it takes or we don’t if we do then we need to try them.If we don’t we may as well loan them and see how they do,or sell them.
Think myself Bobb has a higher ceiling than Palmer and could easily reach Wirtz ,Musiala levels.
My opinion we give it a go and if we win nothing but build a new team next summer that includes Bobb, Lewis , McAtee, O’Reilly Perrone or even just 2 or 3 of them I’ll go with that.

squad is full.
No, it’s not. We are only currently at 15/17 in our foreign list.

Edit….unless of course you’re wanting to go into the territory of Cancelo and Phillips, but that’s pointless imo as they 100% won’t be here at end of window.
