He played Midfield in the 20/21 season, and parts of the 21/22, 22/23 seasonsNo we haven’t until last season it was Gundogan, and can’t remember many games he played as an 8 last year either.

Isnt he going to be starting 8? 12 goals is reasonable for a man of his talent, it's just whether he can do it12 goals from the backup 8? some target that.

One of the defence will step up/in i expect. cant see Silva being the starter (maybe early while everyone is away) and outwide in big games.I mean Foden and KDB together in midfield could kill Rodri's legs.
Every year we have the same conversations. Every year some want to splash out, some want to promote academy players, some believe we are seriously weaker, others insist we are not. I cannot think of a season in the last five when this hasn't been the case. We have lost Alvarez. We have gained Savinho. Not much has changed.
