I agree it’s a squad game, but the best players always start the biggest games. It’s one of the main reasons why Alvarez is leaving, as he was never going to start ahead of haaland in those big finals. Rodri will always start in those games as well.
Kimmich will want to start every big game, which means we have to drop a midfielder or walker.
It is not a bad idea to drop Walker we won the final without him in starting xi.
yeah but I got u idea. Kimmich will not be a guaranteed starter for us. If he accept that he is a good addition covering 2 spots easily but I don't think he will accept.

Eze often plays as a left hand side free roaming winger with an overlapping left back holding the width. Just what Grealish was when he was at Villa. Nunes can play the same role. If we sell Grealish to Villa and sell Nunes to Wolves this deal will make a lot more sense.Won’t be Jack will more likely be Nunes or Kov
If we put Eze and KDB behind Halaand it will be the end of pressing game. Arsenal and Brighton will cut us like cheese in the middle. Eze does not press. The opposite thing of Alvarez.
I’m not sure. Bernado can play centrally and Foden although should be playing 10 will play everywhere whilst Kev is still here and also maybe no back up striker.Eze still addresses no need even with those two.
If Nunes was to go it would be a straight replacement. If Kov was to go you’d imagine we are definitely signing another 6/8 as well

Pep wants Guimarães. He wanted Rice and Paquetá. He chooses McAtee and O'Reilly to stay this season. It tells u a lot about what Pep is thinking about. It should be a tall and strong 6/8 like Guimarães/Paquetá/Rice or O'Reilly who has the potential to be. He wants someone good at defending to help poor Rodri.
Tolmie(or Tikki?) keeps selling idea of another winger/attacking midfielder to the fan base. Perhaps a way to avoid addressing more difficult issues - defensive midfielders /fullbacks or a backup striker.

Whether Pep extends or not, we've more games with the CL and Club World Cup (if we take it seriously, all indications are we will). Unless Pep is legitimately going to roll with the punches and give McAtee, Lewis, O'Reilly meaningful first team minutes, we just seem way short on players, especially ones he'd be willing to play in an important game. No central mid yet being signed or even seriously linked to is insane.

We can't make mistakes now because if we're stuck with flop players like Nunes and Phillips, we'll be in trouble. Unfortunately, there's no player on the market right now who's really suitable for us, at least not one who's available. Wirtz would be perfect because he passes well, he's smart, and technically gifted - that's what we need anyway. We shouldn't buy Eze, he's not the level we should aim. We have to face it, the core of the team is old, our best player, KDB, is 33. We can't make mistakes, it's better to wait and not buy anyone, but next year there will be room for someone like Wirtz or Musiala. Now we definitely need to buy Bruno G, he's a quality player. We have to keep an eye on arsenal too, if we make a mistake they'll take over the lead from us...
