Wouldnt be surprised to see Ederson, Rodri, Pep and Haaland done this season mate and KDB, Walker and Bernardo gone next season? Ortega also signed his new contract earlier in the summer as well so thats one sorted.

Oretga extended another year, its still up 2026, so will have to talk again next summer.Wouldnt be surprised to see Ederson, Rodri, Pep and Haaland done this season mate and KDB, Walker and Bernardo gone next season? Ortega also signed his new contract earlier in the summer as well so thats one sorted.
No one is bidding for silva, think he extends, KDB gets one before xmas this seeason. Walker depends on form this year.

Think midfielders are more likely targets than wide forwards next summer.I honestly don't know , but something is happening at Madrid. They are pushing him out, the pep being a fan of him is known in Brazil as well. Vini plays left , mbappe wants to play left and Rodrygo's best position is left wing, one has to go

Even if KDB/Walker stay I don't think they'd be offered their current salary. Stones might be dependent on his fitness this year. McAtee would need a massive year and cement a role to get a decent wedge.
Pep's decision is the key anyway, as some of the older players may fancy a change of scenery if he leaves

was reading stefans thread on chelsea the other day, reminded me there is much more than just wages/years on a contract makes me think the cash saved might be for the contracts rather than shopping.Interesting year ahead.

Every player has:
- Base wage: weekly, monthly, annual etc most likely with regular rises built in given contract length
- Image rights: say 20% extra for marketable players
- Signing-on fees: Paid in installments over contract length
- Loyalty bonuses: Often paid at season's end or start
- Performance bonuses eg:-
- Appearance fees -
- Win bonuses
- Goal bonuses (for attackers)
- Clean sheet bonuses (for defenders/goalkeepers
)- European bonuses and uplifts
On top of that the club pay social security (NI) and pension adding at least another 15% cost on top.
We've alot of top end guys up for talks. (could all be budgeted for already though as im guessing)
