From the bits I've seen of Ferguson, I'd be happy for him to be challenging & rotating with Haaland, but as we've seen with Bloom previously, he's a tough negotiator, so meeting his asking price may again be an issue.

I'd not mind Welbeck. I'd prefer someone better or younger but he knows how to play a 9 in a setup somewhat similar to ours.

He's not involved in the build up play often so just keep the defenders busy and occasionally be in the right place at the right time for the ball to bounce off ya.

Ferguson is a backup now tbf, Brighton just signed a 4th CF last week. Just depends on the injury for me, but like him as a player.
