Italian side has lots of report about rags putting bid for Ederson in the past 2 weeks and were rejected.

So I guess if we want him we have to be somewhere near a bid (or a bid is already made).

Maybe they've put bids in and it is the player that has rejected the Old Toilet shit show. Doesn't it change the narrative if the player only wants us? Or are some City fans still stuck with a negative outlook?

It’s obviously not a confirmation that either will sign, but the interest is more or less 100% genuine. There was a club briefing last week that Bruno G and Zubimendi were off the table for January, but for Marmoush and Ederson it’s a bit of the opposite. It’s an indication that the club thinks there’s a possibility for January, unlike with Bruno/Zubimendi. Deals in January are generally harder and both Frankfurt and Atalanta are doing very well in their respective domestic leagues, and would consequently ask for premiums, which makes negotiations harder. I have no doubt that the interest is genuine though when it comes from Gaughan and Blackburn

Attitudes of the players and agents will be key to these moves. If they push we get them.

Getting Marmoush would be a bigger hurdle than getting Ederson. Atalanta can figure out a solution for their midfield without him.

Frankfurt would need to find a replacement that is fitting for them. Maybe they’ll take Kolo Muani back who knows

But if, say, dippers were offering that money would you believe that they would get him? I'm guessing you would and it would be another example of City negativity.
At the end of the day, it's the writer of the article who has probably come up with the figure and it's likely a bit dollop of dogshit.
