It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

But if, say, dippers were offering that money would you believe that they would get him? I'm guessing you would and it would be another example of City negativity.
At the end of the day, it's the writer of the article who has probably come up with the figure and it's likely a bit dollop of dogshit.
Nope. I think the selling club are idiots, looking at the market and position they/we are in.

Can’t say I understand the “City not original plan to do Jan business” line, seeing as Rodders got injured 3 months ago, not like it was last week.
Not to mention our form fell off a cliff 2 months ago, and anyone could tell that even in August and September while picking up loads of points we were way off it.

Possibly thought that the squad could cope but given injuries, poor form, old-age or whatever it hasn't played out. We're not perfect.
I know we aren’t, but equally Txiki is a well paid man and probably has a good few people in that department with him too. As @richards30 pointed out, we weren’t ripping up trees in Aug and Sept either, added to Rodders injury, and the rest of the injuries and poor form, I’d like to think we got our arses in gear.

Of course, that said, we know January is notoriously difficult to do decent business in, but needs must and we’ve already accepted we fucked up last summer in not getting on with the rebuild, so no excuses to not get 2/3 new faces in asap this month even if we have to overpay. What price do we put on ensuring we are best geared up to get top 4 and Champs League?

that'd be a new amended plan, the original would still say 'we're ok' though.
Well we’ve already accepted we fucked up on not starting the rebuild last summer so that doesn’t wash, imo. I get where you are coming from of course, but sounds fucking stupid to me to claim it’s like some file that gets signed and put in a drawer saying “we are ok”.
