Agree, Mcatee will never be good enough to be a regular in that team. Need to cash inTotally disagree. McAtee has been given a decent go but looks miles off in establishing himself even in our current state. Rico Lewis is better than what you have described him as. Pep does rate him hence more starts.

McAtee has been given a paltry 333 minutes of football for us this season and 261 minutes for England U21. Not sure that's enough to judge any player, particularly when there have been enormous gaps between appearances.

I know what you mean but I just me for January it gives us a little boost. We never do business in January so anything is a bonusI’ve a real problem with this.(not directly from you personally here either btw)
Echeverri and Bobb are being unintentionally built to unrealistic levels of expectation.
Two players I’m more than happy to see get all the minutes they can get but let’s not think they won’t have set backs and games they vanish etc.
