It's Quiet 32 - enter at own risk

I mean in champions league

No - squad rules are maximums, there is no minimum in any of the rules.

Edit:- and yes we are done unless Danilo or Otamendi leave, they have been told they can leave for the right price but doesn't look like anyone is going to come in for them.

Sane will not go this summer.

We will not match the rags bid for Maguire. He will go there or stay at Leicester.

I understand it this way
You can include 17 foreign players in your squad. You can add 4 more players but they need to be association trained. After this you have to include homegrown players.

Well - the 17 is technically 17 from anywhere, in PL and CL. Beyond that the rules change for PL/CL but the consistent factor is for senior players they have to be association trained. There is a maximum of 8 in the CL. In the PL the 8 is made up of 4 AT and 4 CT.

There is no limit on youth players who meet the relevant criteria (again different criteria for PL/CL).

So in simple terms a squad is:-

17 Foreign
8 Association Trained (or 4+ 4 Club Trained)
+ unlimited qualifying youth

Do we need a CH if Otta & Danni stay? I think so as be basic math's, we have lost one and an outstanding one at that, so we need one. Or do we rely on both Eric & Stonesy, with Otta as back up and then Ferdi as emergency cover at CH?
Sounds like a risky plan to me for the Fourmidables...………. although Pep knows best and in him I trust!

This is spot on apart from the bit in Bold, the 4 + 4 rule is for the CL (Currently Sterling/Stones/Walker as Association trained & Angelino as club trained). In PL they just have to be Association trained

Let's face it. We have been struggling in the transfer market since last summer. Since we failed to get Jorginho, and dodged a bullet thankfully.

Remember how we weren't going to spend big on a left-back because the money was needed elsewhere? Good times. :)

I don't see it that way.

We can not buy a foreign player without dropping one of the list. No player deserves to be dropped and buying before selling puts you in a bad place so its a non starter.
Buying an association trained player that improves the squad without paying stupid money is not possible.

There is no struggle here. We are a well run club that makes very calculated moves.

Less than ten days to bring someone in. Think we'd hear at least a few rumors if there were any new signings left. The only one that's been persistent is Cancelo if Danilo leaves. Swear I've read some form of that sentence every day for the last three months on twitter.

Equally we have Sterling who could easily be moulded into a striker and Sergio’s long term replacement. He may miss the odd sitter but who doesn’t, what you can absolutely guarantee though is that his movement would create more chances than any striker anywhere in the world and I include Messi, Mbappe and anyone else you care to name.

Then you have to maybe bring in a replacement winger or maybe even a central midfielder if Bernardo is going to be used predominantly from the right hand side. At that stage you can look at Doyle and Poveda coming through over the next few years and ask yourself if we really need a replacement at all.

We already have his replacement Sterling
