I hope you're right, but haven't CAS got the ability to impose their own punishments? The fact that FIFA may have erred in their decision making process may or may not impact on who gets punished

I'm fairly certain CAS can impose binding sanctions if they think they're needed. Both City and our own dear FA are also listed with FIFA as parties involved in the appeal.

I can't find any details, possibly they don't announce the panel this early. The list of arbitrators for football cases seems to be mainly lawyers/solicitors together with some football administrators (no Gill in the list thankfully!)
