Butland adds nothing to a Pep team and, as I said, we may as well look to Gunn if being an English goalie is the criteria.

We saw yesterday that with Kompany our backline looks perfectly solid. But we can't rely on him. So we need a CB who is just as good, of which there are only 3-5 in the world. When Kompany is injured then Stones can learn from someone with UCL experience. But imagine when he is fit, a CB pairing of Kompany and another world-class defender. It's a win-win situation. Bonucci would be ideal because he knows how to play in a back three and is confident in Europee but I don't think he'll come.

if i am being honest it all depends on whether Butland regains full fitness if he does not then their is little between the lad we bought and sold and Ederson as for the list we could not get most

Don't agree on Mendy, he's a run in straight lines merchant. Great at haring up the wing to put in a cross but doesn't have the technical ability or intelligence to step infield and get involved in the build up. Also very poor defensively,much better options out there imo.

Kicking not passing, spoke to a Sunderland fan big Pickford fan but he say his long kicking is great sometimes too long and it comes straight back but he isnt a passing keeper nowhere near in the same league as Bravo and whoever is our keeper next year will need to see and execute passes as well as Bravo or as near as possible.
