And a Barkley that isn't faced with the massed ranks that City have to contend with every week.
But that single stat doesn't mean they are better players does it? You have to put the stat into context - for example how many creative players they have competing to create chances etc. Sterling has Silva, KdB and Sane also looking to create chances, Barkley has...Mirallas if he gets on maybe, Coleman when he gets forward? It's no real surprise that most of Everton's creativity flows through Barkley.I'm reluctant to take too much from that because there's no way in hell that Puncheon or Redmond are better players than Sterling.
would be quite excited about barkley if we got him, not entirely sure why
he's still so young so that's not surprisingProblem with Barkley is consistency because on form he is easily one of the best midfielders in the country.
Some of his passes in the last month or so have been outstanding.
Ok. The stat simply showed who created more chances. Not who is better. But when a player creates chances at a rate that much higher than all the others, its hard to argue he is not a good player... Barkley clearly is playing well this season. Its hard to deny that.I'm reluctant to take too much from that because there's no way in hell that Puncheon or Redmond are better players than Sterling.
In fairness he isn't that inconsistent. As far as CMs go, he has been quite consistent with his passing.Problem with Barkley is consistency because on form he is easily one of the best midfielders in the country.

LolThis is without all the Rags' English players though yeah? ;)
Probably because he is a pretty good player.would be quite excited about barkley if we got him, not entirely sure why
