Very harsh that, MDM was fantastic from February onwards that season and Navas contributed in a big way to both the league and cup wins with some vital goals and assists.

harsh on Navas maybe he is a very hard worker but a that price we could have bought better as for MDM we actually paid for a player widely regarded as finished not because he could play cb but because he knew the high back line, for a few million more we could have had vvd

Joe Hart is not coming back. He wasn't the answer in the first place for Pep's style of play. It really doesn't matter about who knows which league or what team the player has played for, what matters is who will fit into our team's philosophy and who is attainable.

Understand Hart unlikely, but why shouldn't our aim be to improve the team as best as we possibly can? If that weakens rivals then even better. Everyone has a price, especially with greedy agents, the Pep factor and the good Sheikh's cold hard cash. Not saying we will get any of those, but surely our aim should be to absolutely dominate the league and blow everyone away.

We are interested in Van Dijk, apparently we've sent scouts etc. Ultimately pep knows best so we'll see
