It's Quiet - a new dawn

In what way has he not made it clear? He's refused their contracts and reportedly said he's intent on joining us.

What you mean is he hasn't publicly announced his desire to leave and burnt all bridges. Which is a completely different, and usually unnecessary part of the process. I'm pretty sure he'll join us as soon as Lemar or Mahrez go to Arsenal which should be pretty soon.
Where?

IF this transfer goes through you will see a transfer similar to Sterling. Sanchez will have to work for it.

Maks Cardenas and Sam Lee have both said so.

Again, you're pretending like nothing happens unless it happens in public, which is patently untrue as we all know, but does give the flappers something to grab onto while they wait.

I'm not saying it wont happen, but i'm saying no chance of this all happening in the next three days. Like has been suggested.

Thing is,I'm open minded,I'm long past the fantasy football/fifa/football manager games, but even at my age I still get excited at potential incomings, but this is no better than what they call click baiting on Twitter, and it is allowed with the number of pages in this thread alone.

And before anyone says well don't read the thread, bollocks,I'll read what I want to,but to get thread banned,as I have on here at times,I'm currently banned from the Sanchez thread,it makes me wonder how far Bluemoon forum is willing to let this bullshit go on for.

Like I say,it is every year, and it must be welcomed to keep the forum alive eh ?

Unfortunately we have a Club whose PR department is as much a misnomer as FFP has the word fair in it.
It rarely relates progress on anything to the public and serves as buffer between its officers and the outside world.

The views of fans can be voiced on here but factual evidence will always be thin on the ground so we are like punters at a horse racecourse waiting for tips on the next race waiting for in the know trainers or jockeys or even stable hands giving us the gen on the individual horses chances.

All a bit of fun really but extremely serious if it was our money debating multi million pound purchases.

No, we won't. Arsenal aren't Liverpool. They don't have to convince their fans that Sterling is a money grabbing bastard throwing his life away and that he's a **** and his agents a ****. They don't have the ego and delsuion that comes with Liverpool.Football.Club, and they don't have the bad press corp of retired players.

All they'll do is sign someone to replace him and use the new signing and Ozil's contract extension as a distraction. They've been priming the fans for his departure since January, and all that's left is the last little piece. A little bit of "wage mercenary" which we've already had, and then the distraction player.

Funny, because I disagree 100%. What team has all their signings already in place before pre season even starts? It's totally unrealistic. If the season starts and we don't have a new fullbacks, then there's a case to make.

Who said anything about having all our signings in place before the preseason starts? All he's saying is that when we announced back in May that all our fullbacks were leaving the club, no one would've predicted by July 10th we wouldn't have at least 1 of the 3 or 4 in. When you have no one who can competently play the position in the squad you'd assume those signings would met with urgency and a willingless to pay a little more than the player is worth because whether you like it or not, we are desperate for fullbacks, and we haven't spent a single quid on the position in 5 years.

Nevertheless, I do believe we will have at least 2 in before the lads fly to the US. I don't agree with that as long as they're in before the season starts it's fine. Having our first choice fullbacks in just before we play Brighton isn't good enough...

You know somert, that's a bloody great analogy that, waiting for tips at the horses,I'm having that one, good shout.

Difference being for me here though,if someone puts a tip on here for a horse,I'm more likely.as I have done in the past,to have a few quid on that, than to put any money on such and such signing for us :)
