Because calling agent and saying - can you make your client come to us please, we'll pay him 200k per week is surely tapping up, it's not just when you sit with him in Bradford. He is player under contract with Monaco/any other club and speaking with his agent about the client is same as speaking with player.

But everybody surely does that as there is f'all chance to prove it.

I doubt striking a deal with Monaco will be easy. They'd need to lower their demands a fair bit. The fees being quoted are ridiculous.

If Madrid aren't interested in spending those insane fees either then I think the price will drop. His contract is ticking down and Monaco know that if Mbappé holds out then theyre going to see half of what they would today.

My worry is if we start getting cute with the fee and Madrid say fuck it and make a big bid that'll get accepted.
