Keep reading that he's overrated. I've seen nothing of him that merits an overrated tag. Mbappe and dembele were toying with England last month, that's not forgetting his champions league performances too.

It was strange how B. Silva became a City player with so little drama.
Is it possible we are much more friendly with Monaco than some (inc Monaco) would have us believe. If so perhaps all has been agreed regarding the transfer and he may stay at Monaco for another year as others have suggested. Hopefully just detail from now on....

If there is no communication between a team wanting to sign a player and that players agent then how the feck do you think transfers operate then? Telepathy!!!!Because calling agent and saying - can you make your client come to us please, we'll pay him 200k per week is surely tapping up, it's not just when you sit with him in Bradford. He is player under contract with Monaco/any other club and speaking with his agent about the client is same as speaking with player.
But everybody surely does that as there is f'all chance to prove it.

So we have told an agent we would pay what they want. Big deal. The fact that we would match virtually any clubs wages for the top players should be and is a given considering where we are now as a club.
Getting a transfer over the line and paying the huge transfer fees involved is a different matter.

Unless delayed full payment as well as delayed actual transfer, it would suit our transfer max for this transfer window and the plans of Mr A. to return to Argentina.

If you think convincing Mbappé to come here, and agreeing on personal terms isn't a big deal then you might as well not come on the transfer forum, just check the OS once a day or something. IIRC Sam Lee claimed that whoever he speaks to at City says they believe it's 80% of the transfer.

I'll go on any forum I please thanks. If you didn't think that we would agree to the personal terms of a player coveted by virtually every top club in the world then I would suggest you are naïve at best or possibly suffering from liccle cityitis.
BTW nowhere did anybody say he had been convinced to come here and that was my point.
