You are totally missing the point. He has all the attributes and was simply out of form. If he gets his form back which every blue should hope, then we have a seriously good keeper
Nothing to do without form imo he simply couldn't stand up to what was facing him. Maybe he's used to playing in a team that's far superior to the rest of the league Or maybe it's something else. I don't see a way back for him after last season. Obviously if he stays I hope I'm completely wrong.

If he can stand up to Argentina and Brazil for a country with the footballing reputation of Chile, and win El Classicos, then he can probably handle the likes of Stoke and Brighton.Nothing to do without form imo he simply couldn't stand up to what was facing him. Oh he can can he? Well he bloody didn't and didn't consistently. He's probably ok in a cultured more refined league, but this one is savage and you need to physically impose yourself. De Gea for instance was complete garbage until he grew and got that side of his game sorted.

Coming for crosses and corners and not flapping and dropping the ball (a lot). They smell blood with bravo now and will continue to bully him I feel. Again if he stays I'd be happy as fook to be wrong.
The basics of goal keeping are pretty much blood and thunder, it's a dangerous position.
