Hopefully we can move him on with Delph.

Good players in their own right but not good enough for where we want to be.

I actually think Delph is absolutely good enough for where we want to be (very good squad player which is vital for a top echelon team) but his injury record is going to see him leave, unfortunately.

Fernando, on the other hand... I wish him well.

It is a misleading turn of phrase. Verbal agreement isn't much better.

I'd go with "But he said so". It gives it the weight such an "contract" deserves.
I remember the old saying in business:

"A verbal agreement is not worth the paper that it is not written on'.

But hey oh - onwards and upwards

It is okay moving squad players on but we need to start getting some additions onboard or we will be a bit lightweight going into the season.

Some sites running with Hart has met with United reps about a possible move. Now I'm certainly not a flapper but "IF" true, this has been a really shit day to say the least. Is this what tolmie meant by "have a nice week blues"? Yeh fuckin great so far thanks lol
Cannot agree with you there.

I do not want to get on Joe's case but if he was to go there the doughnut thief must be off - I would be very happy with that

I've been a member here for a good few years now, however "rarely" post regarding first team football matters as I accept that watching MOTD,SKY & BT doesn't really give my opinion the same credence as those of you that follow our team week in week out. However, the transfer market is open season for everyone and I can't believe some of the nonsense/ utter gash I've read on here tonight. We have already made 2 brilliant signings (silva imo having the potential to be genuine world class), the club seem calm with regards to future signings and I have no reason to doubt that. We missed out on an ageing (tho' still brilliant free transfer). 40 years on from this love for City starting I am more confident than ever that when the season starts every club in the league will be looking at us and asking " wtf do we do about City, they're fucking strong in every area of the pitch?" Just my thoughts, I'll go back to primarily reading posts.

the need to apportion blame to somebody if things don't go as we want them to is somewhat odd.
why does everything have to be someone's fault?
Because so many of our fans seem to live in a spoilt and entitled world it seems - judging by their behaviour

Poor Txiki. I feel for him. He is now trying to offload some expensive purchases who he presumably gave the big sell to.

There is absolutely no place for sense in the Transfer forum.

Get back to lurking, you!
