Madame Tussaud's?
Madame Tussaud's?
Bit harsh to just leave empty space where Ake is back up left back. All of a sudden, we’re looking like we could have a brilliant squad View attachment 165783
Gray? It’s a long shot from me, that’s why potentially is in bold, but if Lewis were to go it would open a door.

I knew I forgot someone…Bit harsh to just leave empty space where Ake is back up left back.
Love them both, but you can see how moving Akanji or Gundo opens up a fresh option for a non NHG.
What the hell have you seen, in actually watching him play, rather than looking at stats, that screams ‘this kid is going to contend for the Ballon D’Or’?That's totally fair. I just think 23-29 year old Savinho, if he's here, does.
I wouldnt give up Doue, Barcola or Guler if we had them and I wouldn't give up Savinho either.

That is a Ballon D'Or contender in the making, if we can just work on the shooting.
I’ve no clue, just my own opinion. I’d love to see him or Livramento. Prefer Livramento as he’s got slightly more experience.Gray?
The dribbling, passing and movement. He's 21 mate. Makes smart choices, very intelligent with positioning, tries things. What the hell have you seen, in actually watching him play, rather than looking at stats, that screams ‘this kid is going to contend for the Ballon D’Or’?
Gonzales?I knew I forgot someone…
I could come up with a shit tonne of examples of players who were better at 21 and petered out, it means fuck all.The dribbling, passing and movement. He's 21 mate. Makes smart choices, very intelligent with positioning, tries things.
Salah, Raphinha, Mahrez all worse at 21.
Not saying he'll get to that level but anywhere close isnt impossible.
If he scored 9 goals in the PL, like he actually did in La Liga I think a lot more would see it.
It makes total sense to me.This just stinks of short-termism. The reports over the last few days are making less & less sense to me.
I wanted to see three things before I assessed the season ahead.
1. Who lined up against Palermo.
2. Our formation & tactics.
3. Who was trimmed from the squad.
If Palermo was a precursor to the season, then it's the same formation & tactics for the season ahead.
The second half team bore a striking resemblance to the ageing players who Pep trusts, with the exception of Reijnders.
I'll wait until the first international break to make my final assessment of the season ahead, but I'm not liking the prospect of the formation & tactics which were cruelly exposed last season, & again against Al Hilal.
I'm also concerned about our line-up considering the old guard have refused to leave. Pep's continued to play them, & there all sorts of speculation about our younger squad members either being loaned out or fuckin sold!
What the actual fuck is going on?
I also think we’d prioritise Rico over Nunes if Livramento was coming in.No chance this is true imo, unless he had another homegrown right-back lined up. And I doubt we have, given Newcastle’s unwillingness to sell Livramemto.
He was 4th in the Ballon D'Or youth award last year.I could come up with a shit tonne of examples of players who were better at 21 and petered out, it means fuck all.
Pogba was better than Yaya at 21, who was better in their peak?
It isn’t indicative of anything.
If his positioning was that good, he’d be in a position to hit it wide, like he does every time, much more often.
He’s got talent but let’s not take the piss, there’s at least 20 wide players of a similar age bracket that are better.
Adeyemi, Doku, Saka, Gittens, Minteh, Olise off the top of my head, there’s 11 with no effort. He was 4th in the Ballon D'Or youth award last year.
Doue, Guler, Barcola, Yamal better i could live with. What other 16?
‘Will no one rid us of this troublesome Phillips?’PSG ready to offer 150m for Kalvin Phillips.
this is what I want to see tomorrow from Romano.
fucking hell who will take him? not even Leeds?
He’s miles better than ZinchenkoProbably not a popular opinion, but providing we’ve got someone lined up, I’d snap their hand off. I struggle to see it with Lewis, I know he’s come through the academy but as fullbacks go he’s not even the same level as Zinchenko (albeit right footed)
