Not a chance they let Eze, possibly Guehi and Wharton go in one window.
If Akanji leaves i'm expecting a deadline swoop for a new full back. Likely someone who's not been on the radar.
Aint happening this late in the window! Maybe setting the marker down for next year
Only possible if Ortega and Gundogan or somebody else goes too.If Akanji leaves i'm expecting a deadline swoop for a new full back. Likely someone who's not been on the radar.
One of the keepers will definitely leave. There's no need for four keepersOnly possible if Ortega and Gundogan or somebody else goes too.
Yes I know but 3 including a keeper need to leave before we can bring any NHG fulback in.One of the keepers will definitely leave. There's no need for four keepers
And the way both teams battered us in their own home, and we got draws at the Etihad vs Them, and finished with more points, and looked way better in the UCL, those teams should not have had a better window than us this summer. How Arsenal players and dickhead fans took the piss out of us, playing that Kendrick song, doing Haaland celebration etc, definitely must be in the mind of our players, you could tell Haaland really didn’t like it too, but with this defence/GK I don’t see us beating Arsenal, I actually see them beating us with ease if that Spurs performance is anything to go by, same with Liverpool, Madrid. We need a RB and a new GK for sure. Their teams are solid all round. Ours is great in some positions, but incomplete. It has indeed been a solid window but is that enough? Liverpool and Arsenal have had exceptional windows imo and are still buying?
Just had a text from my late dad’s best mate who is the brother of Bobby Manzi the Palace journalist? Apparently we have made a push for Wharton!
Possibly mate but Palace are interested in more than one City player apparently
Yeah is an issue sometimes with certain moves but definitely think Akanji is more likely to go to Palace than when they were in for Laporte hahaProblem is they don’t want to go they going to sit it out and what they are entitled to..
How relevant are the ages? We have signed young players but if they don’t meet the current needs and we regress like last season then surely it’s a bad window? But if the players come good later on it can become less bad? It's excellent when you consider the ages.
Hope is true! We’ve known city have had an eye on Wharton for a while but I’m sure we track every up and coming talent.Possibly mate but Palace are interested in more than one City player apparently
We’ve been stingy for the right players for the past two years. We could’ve gotten Olise for 65m but we chose to spend 60m on Doku. 40m on any midfielder other than Kovacic and 55m on any other player than Nunes improves us. We didn’t want to fork over the money for Bellingham and Rice and that’s why we are in this messIn 2025 we have spent more than both. The idea that we've been stingy is ridiculous.
So Olise, Bellingham and Rice wanted to come to us? It's not like cans of beans in Tesco where if you pay the price you can just take them. We’ve been stingy for the right players for the past two years.
