I find this hilarious after the clubs voted against 5 subs for next season. That rule was perfect for promoting the inclusion of (mainly homegrown) youth. If they truly gave a shit about homegrown players developing they’d have approved that rule change

Perhaps make it so that the two extra subs can only be u21 players?
 
The wages that British players will now be able to demand will further weaken the top clubs ability to compete.
 
not only would it push the price of English playersup even more but it would also diminish the quality of the premiership. ....more English/British players mean lower quality teams - simple as that.
And increase the frequency and price of signings of foreign players young enough to qualify as HG.
