I just don't go with all the shirt sales/ sponsorship bollocks pays for big player, it's a lie.

I live in Asia, once upon a time every kid had a premier league shirt on, all dodgy, all copies, now they don't. Why? The Premier league and Nike, Adidas and Puma sent out people searching for the sweatshops, putting pressure on local governments to stop it. It still goes on, but at a far lower scale.

The real shirts are in the shops and guess what, no kid/ adult buys them, too expensive!
I don't doubt a word of this, but how is it relevant?
Nike/Adidas/Puma got no money coz no-one bought legit gear, so clamped down and now get no money coz no-one buys legit gear.
How does this impact potential increased sales in legitimate markets around the world?

Legs are gone and not at his best no more lol

he just put up a league season with 20 goals and 20 assists lol with a trash team behind him ffs.

would do that in the premier league next season 20 goals and assists easy

Just had another word with the boss and asked him what is this DEFCON 3 malarkey and he said it’s something to do with an increase in readiness above that required for normal readiness and that the planes are now ready to mobilise in 15 minutes - whatever that means ?

With respect, we currently have £470m sat in the CFG coffers for something just like this.

As I've said, Messi needs to be taken in isolation for obvious financial reasons and complexities.

He may not even cost us much of a transfer fee if certain players are also included in the equation.

Removing the wages or Vinny, Silva, Bravo and Sane has clawed back the best part of £600k a week so far.

You only have to listen to Khaldoon's interview this evening to see City have exceptions to the desired profile we will also be bringing in.

wow, just get it done, it may be the right time for him. Bring on The Phil.... if not have a go for Leo

I wouldnt swap Bernado for Messi due to age and experience of the league.

Sure it might be cool to have Messi in the team and might be financially viable but Bernado was fantastic in every sense season before last and has time on his side.
Swap him for an aging messi who might struggle in our league? No thanks.

Er, ok, but I can I just balance that by saying ‘Yes please’!

Even if Messi couldn't run I'd spend the money just to have a player who can bloody finish. He could stand still in the box and still get 20 goals a season with Kev feeding him.

Meanwhile we'd only be playing with 10 men when out of possession and the forward press, that's the core of our defence, would be a man light and leaky.
Yes, I drool for Messi on the ball like everyone but I worry that having our team pander to a superstar might have an overall negative effect.
4 or 5 years ago, when he used to run and stuff, it'd be a resounding yes from me . . but IMO not now.

Fucking hell.

Any news on outgoings?

A lot of players that we are looking to move Otamendi, Stones, Zinchenko, Garcia, Angelino. Nearly all being linked somewhere but not much movement.
