I don't doubt a word of this, but how is it relevant?I just don't go with all the shirt sales/ sponsorship bollocks pays for big player, it's a lie.
I live in Asia, once upon a time every kid had a premier league shirt on, all dodgy, all copies, now they don't. Why? The Premier league and Nike, Adidas and Puma sent out people searching for the sweatshops, putting pressure on local governments to stop it. It still goes on, but at a far lower scale.
The real shirts are in the shops and guess what, no kid/ adult buys them, too expensive!
Nike/Adidas/Puma got no money coz no-one bought legit gear, so clamped down and now get no money coz no-one buys legit gear.
How does this impact potential increased sales in legitimate markets around the world?
