If Messi joined Aguero 8-9 years ago, would’ve made sense. Joining Pep in 2016 would’ve made sense. Joining no? F-k no, we’re not a graveyard.
We’re not a one man team like Barcelona. The reason for Barcelona failing the last couple of years is because they were trying to adapt the team to accomodate Messi, and not the other way around.

Can’t believe people are so excited. Identifiy the next Messi instead.

That CFG money is also needed for a new stadium for NYCFC, and the Etihad 100% needs a complete new roof within the next 10 years and the North stand rebuild.

We are well short in terms of our owner's requirement to win the Champions League and to regain the title we lost by 18 points this last season.

If that money is available for special signings, go and get Mbappe, Felix and the like, players who could and probably will be the next superstars and potentially give 10 years service for this club.

Messi would only sign for us because he is rightfully pissed with Barca, he would come nowhere near us if he was happy.

You have had posters explain to you 2 or 3 times the CFG money is separate and the money IF we want to sign Messi is also separate.
Now I thought you was a decent poster but it's quite obvious you're on the wind up. Either listen to what people respond to your questions or just let it go mate as you seem to want to go round in circles.
I'm not being nasty and I don't want to engage in tit for tat shite but for the love of God stop repeating yourself and take things on-board.

I'm sorry but if Messi says to City he wants to come surely its a no brainer!

He's arguably the best player of all time and although he is 33 he doesn't rely on pace so could easily play for us 3 years minimum. You've also got to look at what the younger players around the squad would gain from training around someone like Messi for a few years!

Absolute no brainer!
