People wanting Felix before Kane is madness. We urgently need an out and out goalscorer now and whoever it maybe needs to hit the ground running. We simply can't afford a bedding in year. For that reason Kane is the only one.
I think it also injects life in to the team. A belief would come with a signing like that, it might piss Aguero and Jesus off but its a challenge they need to rise to.
Plus whatever happened to the 3-5-2 pep was so interested in? Kane and Aguero? Boom

Been sayin for a while Kane be perfect amount of balls we swing into the box for 5"7 players to get outdone in air 99.9% of time.

He is a leader. We lack leaders massively. He is big and very strong. He will beat Shearers and Shreks records and some here would want him?! Mad bstards

Now would be the time to deal with Levy to pries away Kane. A new stadium to fund with no fans!

Kane would be a proper "cocks out" signing imo.

The man is astoundingly good at scoring goals and would be even better with our lads feeding him.

A "statement signing" of the highest calibre.

Also I can't imagine the press will be chuffed that England's main player and captain plays for City

Be nice for him to break the record whilst in a City shirt as well, that would go down well with the media. Little old city with two of the greatest goal scorers in the prem.

Levy will want +120m and we won’t entertain that.
I wouldn't put it past us. CAS has reignited a fire for Khaldoon and I can see him approving what we need no matter the cost. Just because we fucking can, and if we can. We do.

Every time I've see Kane live (when we've played Spurs) I've been impressed with how early he takes on shots and his technique.

In the games where a team sits deep and the killer pass isn't coming off, he is the type of player who will create space for himself to get his shot away. When Aguero isn't in the team we really miss that.

I wonder whether given his injury record City could be a good match for him. He would start all the big games, but with our strength in depth we could probably rotate him for more games than he currently is able to at Spurs who heavily rely on him.

Spurs not qualifying for the champs league will be a big blow for him and as he heads to his peak years it doesn't look like they'll be challenging for titles any time soon. Maybe he would be willing to consider a move, if he is then City would be mad not to throw our hats in the ring. The fee for any club signing him would likely be a record and we don't tend to go for those transfers, maybe we'd make an exception for him though...

Good point on the rotation potential if he were to sign for us. I’ve always thought of him as a bit of a flat track bully. I’ve not researched it, but my sense is that he’ll often score against weaker opposition, be it for his club or country team, but not necessarily in the big games (penalties aside). Having said that, bearing in mind some of our struggles have been against teams outside the top 6, maybe that’s a good thing.
