I've no great interest in England, to the point that I don't even know who they're playing.

I don't give a fuck either way anymore - I just want this thread to carry on for another 1000 pages because there's nothing decent on the TV at the moment.

This thread has entertained like a good soap.

As in a TV soap, some protagonists had/have Shakespearean aspirations, although most were here for the craic.

As in a TV soap, the hero’s untimely death was filmed in two versions to block a spoiler.

Some posters cling to the hope that replaying will flush out version 2. Some hope the producers will engineer a resurrection. And some have quickly moved on.
