I saw something today about Jovic actually being available for loan. That coupled with the fact we looked at him before he went to Madrid makes me feel it could happen but I know nowt

I and others wrote that the Aguero would miss parts of the season because of that injury and got abuse for it.

Meniscus injuries aren't easy to get over and for an ordinary person would be 8 months or so for a full recovery.

I hope with a run of games then Jesus becomes the striker many think him to be.

I would be pretty amazed if you could point out posters giving you abuse for saying Aguero would miss time due to injury.

The issue is who do you bring in that is fine with being at best option 1b while Aguero is here? And then you have to worry about sending the wrong message to Jesus.

Dress it up however you fucking like. The fact we’re going into this season with one fit striker is fucking appalling from everyone in the club top to bottom.
We fucked about last year on a CB putting all our eggs in Maguire basket and we’ve done exactly the same with a forward this year in Messi.

True but wouldn’t he have paid for himself on a free transfer with the commercial aspects ?

It’s been well publicised that HH no longer funds the club from his own pocket.

Either way going into the season with one fit striker is pretty disgraceful for a club supposedly serious about winning the title.
