As said as a money revenue club, no1, but they in my opinion no longer have the draw on players they once did and as a club in terms of player welfare/improvement they are falling away rapidly, same with the rags, Barca and Juventus, all have become clubs who became lazy and believing reputation and dare I say History are all that matters.

Looking after your players on and off the pitch is highly important and I do think we have become the leaders in world football at that.

I believe that more than Castles claim that we have made an offer for Kane. Nothing to do with trusting or not the two sources (don't actually know much about the second), more with what makes sense to me. Particularly given Haaland isn't at the euros
