I totally agree. I’m not saying drop Stones. For me Laporte has to fight and work hard and wait like Stones did.

Going to be interesting watching him for Spain in the Euros, he knows he needs to play well to get the Spanish clubs to firm up interest.

The only thing certain this window and by certain I mean IF we sign either Haaland or Kane is that the price of the other will drop considerably.

Proper game of poker as to who blinks first....eg we seal a Kane deal, Chelsea the only team with readies for Haaland who with no bidding was would lose maybe a third of the transfer fee or we get Haaland and spurs left with a miserable Kane and no transfer kitty for the new manager.

Interesting few weeks, even more than normal I'm expecting a few PR bullshit articles being launched by various clubs mouthpieces.

I think if Spain’s big three suddenly find some money down the back of the sofa for a CB then Pau Torres is a more likely candidate for them. Ready to step up from Villareal, he would cost less than Aymeric and his wages would be lower
