It is a concern. I think Laporte already had doubts about moving to Manchester in the first place. Also Dias does not have the same standing when next to Laporte. His is not as dominant. Laporte’s attitude when playing alongside Dias is petulant imo.shame gets dropped and wants out not much of a fighter is he!
If we have to decide I would keep stones regardless of his performances at the euros. The defensive combination of Stones/Dias will only improve. You need a submissive and a dominant partner.
We can’t keep an unhappy player no matter his name or reputation.
For the good of the team. Laporte needs to leave if he can’t adjust his attitude, stop moaning to the papers and form a better partnership with Dias than Stones.
Imo he will take the lift back to Spain, it’s only a matter of time.
I am also convinced that Rodri would make an exceptional CB. Probably a non starter.
