Do you really believe we would put all our eggs in one basket?

Ruben Dias wouldn't be a City player if that were the case.
I don’t doubt that but if we’re supposed to sign a replacement for our greatest ever (up for debate I suppose) player then surely we’re only gonna be replacing him with a top tier player. There is only a couple on the market

we have huge scouting department surely the can spot some strikers who would be perfect fit for our frontline other than Kane or Haaland. these two probably did not need much scouting lol.

anyone with a killer instinct front of goal would be better than Sterling/Jesus easily.

How the hell do you know that? Spurs can't afford to pay a new manager, they need cash and the only way of getting that is by selling Kane. Levy is a businessman, an accountant and although he drives a hard bargain he will ultimately negotiate. £70m up front is MASSIVE money, most big transfers have installments etc so getting the bulk of the cash up front, with bonuses later isn't as far away from the sweet spot as you might think. Kane's farewell to the spuds fans was clear and planned, you don't do that if there hasn't been some dialogue and agreement to leave prior to the end of the season.

Cos it's blatantly obvious. If we'd even offer that, which we won't...

Nevermind, will leave you to the fantasy world

Neither of them are really on the matket though.

I trust we will find a way

Top tier players, certainly strikers, are always confined to just a small handful, irrespective of when Sergio was coming to the end of his time with us.

If anything, it is extremely rare to have players such as Haaland, Kane and Messi even up for the possibility of moves at the same time.

City have had more than eight months preparing for every eventuality, so I'm pretty certain they already know where we stand and have agreed personal terms with all three.
