Some of the Silver Lake money is already being used towards offsetting costs.

I did say a while back that CFG would have a big financial stake in the new concert arena, which they have now recently bought a decent piece of.

With it being directly located on the stadium footprint, we can use those revenues and they also be counted towards FFP?

I think that's why City are very comfortable with the financial years to come - having built a money printing press right next to the Etihad!!
So not just rags filling up their cars funds us, but seeing Olly Murs does too!

The point is we lost 120m, we need to turn that around to avoid issues after covid with FFP.

The loss was due to the accounting period change/tv deal and champions league pay out delay, but even with those we would not have made a big profit.

We still have to be careful , no guarantee stadiums will be full or the pandemic is over.
the club will have factored that into what we spent, at the start of last season's accounts we had c. £60m there to offset and we didn't have a big net spend last season, we won the league again and got to the CL final so we will have had a decent year financially and the club will have closed the year-end factoring all that in.

Now that £120m loss is irrelevant so we're looking at a fresh set of accounts and new reporting period this year. Kane and Grealish don't factor into that loss.

How much money are we really likely to make from a (circa) 50% stake in a 25,000 arena?
I can't imagine it is a game changing amount.

Just about to ask the same question.

I would have though the promotor makes the serious money, not the landlord.

Would love to see the rest of the area around the ground developed a lot further if we have this cash available.

£100 m is not coming exclusively from those who haven't played for us. It will come from those who have. I don't know whether that figure has Sane sale amount or not.
Sancho Nmecha Harrison Porro? And probably a big name exit will happen to cover that 100m
That’s not what it’s saying. We already have £40m once Nmecha leaves, for Nmecha, Harrison and Angelino.

Then around £50m for Yangel Herrera, Porro, Illic and Morgan Rodgers is what the report says.

Whether the £100m is including the £10m from the Sancho clause or another sale of a kid I don’t know. But it’s £100m even WITHOUT a first team sale.

Don't know, he looks like a cocky little fucker and I wouldn't put it past him to come in thinking he's already top dog.
Hmm I really don't know. Other than his floppy hair, boyish good looks and a picture of him lay on a bed absolutely leathered with a prostitute, I'm not sure on what basis I believe he's cocky.
