People keep forgetting the state of Spurs especially after COVID, Levy practically did a we're fucked interview post season to put it out there.

Same for Villa, can be as rich as they want, but getting 80m for a single player would allow them to keep growing their project and reinvest, in COVID circumstances most clubs would be appealed by our interest
Most clubs have been hammered by covid financially , some like Spurs to the point of desperation.

It will be interesting to see if Bernardo gets the move he allegedly wants, I am sure in normal times there would be a que of clubs wanting him, but this summer who has the cash to buy him?

In Bernardo's case it wouldn't surprise me if Mendes cooks up some shady deal to get it done, he's been doing it for years after all. With Jesus it could be tricky, can't see Juve giving us a straightforward deal, Serie A is in dire straits

£100 m is not coming exclusively from those who haven't played for us. It will come from those who have. I don't know whether that figure has Sane sale amount or not.
Sancho Nmecha Harrison Porro? And probably a big name exit will happen to cover that 100m

You've missed £18m for Angelino.

Fag packet adding...we're already at close to £100m in sales and loans before potential Herrera sale. Throw in one high-profile sale and looking easily at raising £150m plus.

Sane - £44m
Angelino - £18m
Harrison - £11m
Sancho - £11m
Nmecha - £11m
Ilic - £1m loan
Herrera - £20m (West Ham possibility)
Porro - £1m loan

There is also a 25 per cent sell on for Tosin (linked with Arsenal)
Additional loan fees for Roberts, other kids, etc.

Bernardo's only chance seems to be Atletico, love to see a deal with Felix, but only a swop no cash.

Still rumours that Ronaldo is off, so it may give Juve options.

Loan fees for Roberts?, Tikix is a genius.

Not doubting your figures, but we took a 120m hit last season, won't the Sane money be used to show profit this last season?

We have also spent money on the South American kids, not massive amounts but not insignificant either.

If he is going, I'd be happy to loan Jesus to Juventus, I think he'd be brilliant there and be worth 2x as much on the market after a good loan as he is now. Plus there'll be more people interested.

Don't forget that Txiki bought a Euromillions ticket last night... We could be quids in by tomorrow!

Loan + obligation doesn't sound too bad yeah, considering we're probably not that desperate for cash.

I have no doubts Jesus will thrive in Serie A

Think we need to remember the accounting year-end is 30 June so any signings/sales now are in the 30 June 2022 (next season's) accounts, which will have fans back etc. so we're not having to worry about offsetting the 30 June 2020 loss anymore, that will have been accounted for in the accounting year just gone with a CL final run, league title win etc.
