Are people that worked up about it? We won the league a month or so ago, we already have a superb squad. If we get just one player a day before the transfer window closes then I’ll be ok with that.

We could win the league by 20 points, beating scousers and united 12-0, win all the cups, the champions league and people would moan we didn’t take the Manchester senior cup seriously

So people are happy to accept that Ben White is worth 50m but at the same time we have a fair few saying we would be lucky to get 50m for brazils current number 9 who has starred in a title winning side for the last four years?
My head hurts.

'Starred' is a strong word. He's not been any more than average for a very long time. No-one is going to pay £50m+ for a striker who scored 1 in 3 last season, and looked like he didn't fit into any system... even Brazil's.

Ben White is moving for £50m because (a) he's English, (b) Arsenal are desperate, and (c) Arteta doesn't know what he's doing.
