I’m one of Sterling’s biggest fans and have defended him plenty on here but any comparison with Mbappé however innocuous seems mental even for Bluemoon.
How is a comparison mental? Both world class forwards. Sterling has acheived far more than Mbappe in the club game so far (Ligue 1 nowhere near Premier League).

Just because Mbappe is easier on the eye, doesn't make him incomparable. He's got a long way to go before he's at that level.

It’s some weird world where city fans are happy that a Brazil starting forward could leave the club.

I like the guy, think he is a great player and adds more than most think - maybe that it doesn’t come across on tv but the work he puts in is immense and his goal scoring ratio isn’t actually that bad at all.

It’s either a sign that city fans are becoming entitled in the way we always used to accuse united fans of being or we have moved on way way more than we could ever have imagined. Not too sure which one it is to be honest.

Being a Brazillian starting forward doesn't mean all that much, Paqueta, Fred, Danilo, Everton all start regularly for Brazil.

Jesus needs to leave, the club do not trust him to lead the line and he needs to move on and be a regular starter elsewhere. There's a good player in there but he doesn't fit with what Pep wants.

We will have to disagree on this one mate. I think Mbappe has all the tools to become one of the best in the world, I think Sterling is superb but not at that level.
No biggie, don't care enough to argue about it.

Agree with this, the current Brazil squad is probably the worst in living memory so being a starter for them really isn’t as impressive as it once was

I don't want Jesus to go but I can understand it from his point of view. Jesus has been patient, never complains and always gives everything when he plays but if we are getting a striker then maybe its best for him to find a club where he plays regularly, he can't play second fiddle forever. If he does go I hope its all on good terms and he flourishes wherever he goes.

Or, hear me out, he's just alright
