it’s a big shame that there won’t be a LB coming in, the left is our weakness. If your a manager and you go up against City you target that left side. Zinchenko is an amazing guy but he’s a alright/decent lb he does lose concentration from time to time.

Ive given up on Mendy injuries have destroyed him he does not have that pace he had at Monaco or that directness.

it’s a big weakness in this team. To not fortify that position, it might come back to bite us in the arse next season. Zinchenko has unbelievable fitness but if he gets an injury. You have Mendy to come in who is hopeless.

Zinchenko aside Mendy, Cancelo, Aké, Laporte all can fill in if it gets grim. Would like it addressed with a proper option but I think it's one that's still manageable for one more season. That said who knows, I've got a feeling Mendy will be useful this season. Has finally managed to stay injury free for a long period. We should be fine imo, always the January window if things aren't looking well.

Which 4 or 5 you speak of?

I've only read of Gollini on loan and the Lamela swap + £20m for Bryan Gil (who is one of Spain's brightest prospects, weird sale).

If we could get Monaco Mendy back I would love it. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and is well liked hopefully he can Stay injury free this season

Nuno wants Neto from wolves they are in talks
Mikkel Damsgaard 25 mil bid
also after a midfielder either Aour or Lorenzo pellegrini
 
Could someone cleverer than me help me understand why City are actively rejecting links? Is there a benefit to it, over just ignoring them for instance?
