The plus point is that he can't get any slower, even into his twilight years!

Is the £160mill that the MSM are quoting real? Does that include wages etc? That's serious money if it's transfer fee alone, and no way is he worth that.

Anyway, he seems like a really good skin, so I'm sure he will fit in well. Not sure why you English folks on here always attack his character? Seems like a grand lad to me.

We have spent big money for years now whilst always remaining fairly disciplined on any one fee. Our transfer record remaining lower than most for example.

But to get Kane for £70m more than Ben White isn't too bad a deal. Around the same money Barca paid for Dembele isn't it? Golden boot in the WC, constantly up there for goals domestically and has an excellent record in the CL too. He is worth it. Drops deep to create space, got loads of assists last season and showed for England how good his passing is.

We can swing a ball in at head height too now and actually have a chance to score. Oh and penalties...might scpre some of those as well. He will help Sterling rise back up as well based on their relationship for England.

Looking like this is in the bag, the link between the exclusive breaker and the family is good enough for me....the fee? Probably £100m plus wages, we always have amounts quoted like this, all part of us ruining football. We'll on the pitch we could with this signing if it all works out.

Personally I'd have much more preferred Haaland but obviously on numerous levels that became clear it wasn't happening quite a while ago, the final nail that crazy Euro tour he did.

As for HK, I do think he can be a 'hider' at times hopefully he'll bag goals goals goals in important games and playing in a Pep system be more visible.

If the current premier league top scorer and assister hides even less then we’ve secured a real gem haven’t we
