Nothing has changed and City are still after a traditional 9. Looks like Pep's comments yesterday have had the desired effect in the football media right across Europe though which isn't a bad thing.

Ahh, the old Sancho 'story' when someone has no facts to back their narrative up....
Maybe we've learnt our lesson with Sancho and we're more inclined to keep Delap happy.
It is a Great thing!
Best to be tough in negotiations from the start. There is no reasonable explanation for Dortmund to skin us for 150 mil + 40 mil in agent fees when he has a release clause of half that value the season after while we are breezing the league and favourites for all 4 trophies. We are not desperate at all and can easily manage a season with Jesus, Torres and maybe even Delap there. Dortmund really need cash in hand, especially if they miss out on UCL.Nothing has changed and City are still after a traditional 9. Lol, “Yorkshire tea”, what part of Yorkshire do they grow that in then?We need big balls, yorkshire tea and blue lego otherwise I'm getting the boos in early
Absolutely this. All that matters this season is this season to pep. The least distraction and disruption as possible is a mustI agree. I also think with the 4 trophies we're still fighting for it made sense for him to be as aggressive as he was. He needs his entire squad behind him in the next two months, and transfer talk at this level can be massively destabilising. You don't know how a player will react and therefore it's better to talk like nothing will happen and you believe in the players you have.
Sancho left because he wasn't going to get the chances that HE thought he deserved. Would that be fair to say?Ahh, the old Sancho 'story' when someone has no facts to back their narrative up.
'Learnt our lesson', PMSL.
That's a great shout especially the last line.I agree. I also think with the 4 trophies we're still fighting for it made sense for him to be as aggressive as he was.
