Given that injury and the fact he hasn't played again yet, I'd be surprised if anybody takes him until he's got a complete season under his belt.

Fair enough but when the first links to Zakaria were being talked up, I made the same points about him being out for a long time with a serious injury and (then) not yet having had a decent game. People couldn’t have cared less hehe

I didn't know about his injury, but I remember thinking he looked quality last year, maybe his injury has caused sheff utds problems, we would have to speak to a sheff utd fan to see if they think he would of made a difference
I should have said start of the year not the season in my post, happened around Christmas. So he was playing and available for their bad run.

It was only yesterday I read somewhere that Lukaku is really happy at Milan and is not interested in going anywhere else.
Can see why , he’s playing the best football of his career there .
I don’t think we sign him anyway for a number of reasons .
I think haaland and Kane would be preferred targets .
Although we have shown in the past we won get in to bidding wars for players , and if a price of a player we feel is too high, we’re happy to walk away , which may apply to haaland and Kane .
That’s why not surprised if lukaka has been mentioned maybe as a plan c .

He might never play 2 games in a week again, even with all the medical advances it's a horrendous injury. There's fuck all point in signing someone with injury issues as backup, if they won't be available when we need them as backup.
Same injury as Karen Bardsley has had. Took her 18 months to get back to playing.

Berge was one of the best young midfielders whilst at Genk and surprised he chose to go to Sheffield Utd.

Guess 18 months will have passed by the summer, so we should be able to see how the injury has impacted him.

Having said that, we don’t have the best medical record, do we?

He was injured in December mate, hasn't played since. I'd want to see him back and playing regularly for at least 6 months with no side effects before going near him tbh.

Summer 2022.

I like Sander Berge. Really good player. Was shocked he moved to SU. Suspect that there's some truth in the story as it's come out of a Belgian paper who have close links to his former club Genk, who would get a cut if a future fee.

I've got a call with UEFA's former head of anti-corruption tomorrow. He's a Belgian guy who is now an agent/intermediary. I'll ask him if he's heard about the Berge thing and see what he says.
Hahahahaha uefa and anti -corruption,just doesn’t seem right does it ..
