Pep said himself they may go into the season without buying a striker so there is no need to overreact. I think we will be fine for the league, but the ucl we may regret it. So we didn't spend 150 million on a 28 year old striker, its ok, we will survive as a club and move forward. No need to overreact.
I doubt Pep wanted or expected that situation. I suspect he'll be pretty naffed off at the prospect of going into his penultimate season at the club without a goalscorer. These were supposed to be the crowning glory seasons of his time at City and its looks like potentially it could fall flat unless we act quick

Enjoying yourself aren't you with all this nonsense.
You bring nothing to the table but you spout things like you've been personally told things one to one.
Why are you on our forum?
Go on, one good reason apart from being the shittest wum we've had on and we've had a shitload believe me.
The things I said have been literally quote just above your stupid post. You’re the one making it personal. The UCL quote can be found easily too. I want him to stay for decades. I am simply listening to what he is saying.
If you don’t like my posts and they make you so annoyed, do like the others: put me on Ignore. You won’t miss me and I won’t miss you.
Some of us like to discuss the reality here. Were you one of those still claiming Kane was a done deal yesterday??

We gave Messi his chance last year when he could have tested Barcelona with the out of contract discussion. When he was definitely available as a free we weren’t interested. We gave Kane his chance this year and similarly that it is as far as I can see we will go don’t believe we will revisit that one either. Maybe it’s time to make that big statement that we have so far never made and buy a worldy - don’t like Ronaldo as a person but if you want to deflect from the media crap about missing out on Kane then signing a superstar like Ronaldo will do just that - he is the ultimate professional and would want to go out on a high hopefully passing on some valuable experience to our younger players. For once City please make a signing that gets everyone talking not just at our club but across the premier league. I have had a season ticket at City for 40 years and I never thought we would be in a position to sign one of the greatest players in football and at the same time piss those red t***s down the road off completely. This would be the ultimate nail in their coffin and give us bragging rights forever - manure fans I know have been telling me for years that he will go back to them at the end of his career - well let’s show them that they are f***ing no hopers now and we are the top dogs. We might have planned the Grealish transfer too on the hope we get Kane too. A top creator who Grealish is, added to all the other creators we already have, and not to sign a top finisher.

chances need to be put away and once we managed to sort out our often appalling defence with conceding often 2 goals from 2 shots during 19-20, our weakness is not putting away great chances, we should not need 1.5 times more shots than our rivals to score couple more goals.
doesnt matter much in games when we win 3-0, but matters a lot in games than we draw or lose and almost all of those were either because we missed sitters or we did not even test the keeper. both of these things would be better imo if we have a top striker who puts the fear into defenders either by taking men with himself allowing more space for others to exploit or scoring himself an odd header, an unexpected shot, decide games on their own, like top strikers always do look at Kun for us for years doing his magic from time to time.
